We hope you’re well.
You join us this week for an episode which has been pretty much a year in the making. Not because it’s full of crazy special effects, not because we’re incredibly slow at editing, but because we were lucky enough to be joined by a very special guest from the other side of the Atlantic. He goes by the name of Jaye Williams, and he’s a top podcaster, a music connoisseur and an all-round good egg. It took a long time for our diaries to match up, but last Sunday they finally did and we’re very happy about it.
To mark his debut Tracks appearance, we did what we always do – got him to pick an old, new, borrowed, blue song selection. His were predictably ace, and the episode was a dream. We love the end product, and hopefully you will too.
A quick note before I sign off and let you listen – yes, we know Jaye’s voice sounds way better than ours. All deep and American and authoritative. It’s brilliant. We will work as hard as we can to sound like that one day too, but until then you can hear more of Jaye on his other podcasts here, here and here.
Nice one. PEACE ✌️
