It’s raining here in Brighton right now, which is ironic in a way, because this week’s episode is something of a rain check. Not because we couldn’t be bothered to record an episode, that would be ridiculous, but because we’re super busy right now with some very exciting things indeed. Let me explain…
Some of our longer term listeners may remember that last year we covered Brighton’s very own Great Escape Festival with daily podcasts, interviewing artists and generally bringing you all of the excitement from the front line. It was brilliant – one of the best experiences we’ve had doing Tracks – and fortunately for us a lot of you out there seemed to like it too. So much so, in fact, that we have been invited back to do the same again this year. Yay for us!
So, as this is such a great opportunity, we’re putting in the time and effort required to make it brilliant. You want us to do that, right? As there are only so many hours in the day, that meant that we couldn’t really fit in another recording session this week too.
Worry not though friends, there is still plenty for you to enjoy in today’s ep. Our interview with Jaye Williams from last week was a super long one, and as such a lot of it got left on the cutting room floor. Well we’ve picked up all of those cuttings, got the sellotape out and make a whole extra episode for you. It’s even more Jaye, as the title suggests.
So thank you so much for tuning in again this week, and we can’t wait to be back with you for a new episode next Tuesday.
